Capello Spartan is the perfect solution for whole crop harvesting

Fendt recommends Capello direct cutter bar for Katana

Fendt completes its comprehensive range of harvesting attachments for the Fendt Katana with the Spartan direct cutter bar from the Italian manufacturer Capello and now officially lists the cutter bar as a recommended product. Users of the Fendt Katana thus have a perfectly coordinated team for whole crop harvesting at their disposal. Thanks to its large, freely suspended auger, the Spartan cutter bar guarantees high capacity utilisation with perfect crop flow, even for the new, most powerful Katana models. The crop flow is further optimised by the ideal matching of cutter bar and auger speed, resulting in high throughputs on the carriers from the new Katana ranges. Distribution to AGCO dealers is exclusively through Capello.

The Capello Spartan is a direct cutter bar for harvesting biomass with working widths of 6.0 and 6.9 metres and has proven itself on the market for 10 years. To complement the cutter bars, Capello offers transport wagons with road approval up to 40 km/h. A two-axle trolley is offered for the Spartan 610, and for the Spartan 700 the trolley can also be hydraulically lowered. Engineers from Fendt in Marktoberdorf and from the Capello factory in Cuneo, Italy, had worked closely together to achieve the optimum set-up for the Katana 650 and 850 models.

Pietro Vitale, Managing Director of Capello Germany, explained: “The cooperation on this project was certainly very interesting and enriching for both sides, as we were able to immediately put the respective ideas and experiences into practice and thus jointly achieved concrete results. Also, selling directly through Fendt dealers is a good way to be able to offer the vehicle team immediately on the market.” Dealers in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic and the Scandinavian countries are supported by Capello Germany.
