Fitting all types of modern forage harvesters and combines, the feeding auger has a large diameter and features a simple and functional fluctuation system. “The conical-profile surfaces of the cutting disc, together with the speed of the feeder auger, have been rigorously studied to feed forage into the conveyor in a light and solid way, granting a regular flow and reducing the needed power, even with down crops.” The design of the bed enables the operator to easily replace a damaged drive unit, by simply removing four bolts and removing the top cap this can be achieved without having to strip the entire mower bed down to access the parts needing replacement; added to which the unique quick-change knife units exclusively made by Capello ensures less downtime and more time spent productively harvesting. The widths of cut currently offered are 5.2-6.1 & 7 metres respectively; we also offer the option of vertical hydraulic side-knives. We can also offer a custom built header trolley to suit the Spartan range; these are specifically designed in Germany and are TUV and CE type approved, offering better accessibility and ease of mobility due to the tight turning circle offered by the turn-table design, tight gateways and yard entrances are a thing of the past!
